Captain Ben Stafford joined the In-Service Submarine Project Team in the role of Superintendent Upkeep Submarines in Feb 22.
His Naval career has been spent in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme.
He is married to Alex, has three teenage children and along with being Chairman of Devonport Services RFC he is a youth Coach and Referee for Plymstock Albion Oaks RFC, as well as a reasonable distance runner, open water swimmer and cyclist.

Many thanks must go to Captain Ian Bartlett our previous Chairman for all his efforts for the club during his tenure. He stepped down recently after retiring from the navy.
However, fortunately, it is not the last we will see of Ian, he has heroically volunteered to take over as the club treasurer.

And so we also say farewell and thanks to Martin Peston who has stood down as treasurer after a long stint in the role.
