This is a top result for us.
St Austell are the most improving team in the league; over the last seven weeks, they have moved up a place in the league each week from twelfth to fifth place last weekend.
They would have been confident of winning this game.
According to Jack West, it was a great game. As I thought St Austewll were really up for it.
Apparently, the scoring went something like 14~0 to them, then 14~7, which is how it stood at halftime.
After the break, it went to 14~19 to us only for them to score seven pointer to make it 21~19. Then, with a few minutes to go, we won a long range kickable penalty.
Up stepped Sam Brown, and he kicked it over; according to Jack, it only just got over the crossbar, but over it went, and the scoreboard showed 21- 22 to us.
There was a restart, which we played out to win.
Scoreres, not sure of the scoring order, but this is how Jack gave it to me. Tries by Olly Symons, Dan Lilly, and Matt Gregory. Conversion by Sam Brown, Penalty by Sam Brown.
