DSRFC U16s have an extra match this season which is the prestigious curtain raiser to the annual Medics Rugby Challenge match between the Royal Marines and the Peninsula Medical School,on Tuesday November 5th 2013 at Plymouth Albion. Ivybridge u16s are the opposition.
The match is again organised by Surgeon Commander Anthony Lambert OBE.
For the last five years Mr Lambert has organised the Medics Rugby Challenge, raising nearly £100,000 in aid of the Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund which supports serving and retired Royal Marines and their dependents.
