This has always been the policy laid down by MOD and Plymouth City Council, these are playing fields and not dog-walking places, even if your dog is on a lead and well controlled.

All parents will have experienced children getting dog fouling on them or their boots at some time. It is not pleasant and in rare cases can also lead to diseases.
The Creek is occasionally patrolled by the Council's dog wardens.
