Sunday 15th February saw Services U13s host a combined squad of Topsham RFC and Torquay RFC players, in which there was definitely no Valentine's exchanged between two very combative sides, and the combined squad was due to unavailibilities from both clubs due to half term and illnesses.
Topsham arrived at Keyham with 15 of their own players, and their numbers were boosted with fiveplayers from Torquay, and as we all know, playing against a "Barbarians" type squad can be really difficult, and Services were really made to work every step of the way.
Tries were exchanged on a frequent basis, but the main feature of the match was the aggressive defence from both teams; Services eventually ran out winning the match 9 tries to four.
Player of the Week was justly awarded to Ellis Reed, and Ellis only joined Services in October 2025 after deciding that he wanted to play rugby. ( Video of one of Ellis's two tries attached), and the Bosh Of The Week was awarded to Archie Holmes.
