Well done to both teams
The third team had a tremendous game against the Old Technicians to go down by a single point.
Tries were scored thus:
Thechs' three tries.

15~12. Try Olli Whitfield, Conversion Rohan Johnson.
15~17. Try Harry Pickett.
Half-time lead
Second half.
Techs' try.
20~17.
20~24. Try Harry Pickett, conversion Rohan Johnson.
Techs' penalty.
23~24.
23~31. Try Jack Jones, conversion Rohan Johnson.
Techs' try and conversion
30~31.
30~34. Penalty Rohan Johnson.
Deep into injury time, Techs' try
35~34.
As someone said, ' You would think they, Techs, had won the World Cup.' I suspect it was more the relief after coming so close to being beaten.

In the last five and a half months, the 3s have only played two games, once against the RN Mariners and one game against OPM Jesters.
All that said, it was considered as the best game of the whole day.

Old Technicians are in Counties 3 SW and ended up in fourth place.
This is the league that the 3s will be playing in next season, so let that sink in, and you realise what a great effort they put in to very nearly beating them.

On the 9th, they are playing Ilfracombe on The Rectory in Devon's David Butt cup semi-final at 14.15; come and support them.

The Seconds ended a very successful season by lifting the Combination's Lockie cup, the premier cup in the Combination and one that has been played for for one hundred and twenty-five years.
