Definitely a good close game and one we could have won.
Very proud of them today. Dings are always a good team, and we think they came thinking they would hammer us, and that really didn't happen.
Dings are in the same league as Plymouth Albion.
On a point of interest, I was going to put an apostrophe after Ding, thinking that it had been forgotten and assuming that a Mr Ding had taken part in the crusades in the Levant with his mates.
But it turns out Dings was a slum area of Bristol, and the Shaftsbury Crusade was a mission in the area that encouraged sports in Dings. Thus Dings Crusaders. They formed in 1897.
