The Under 15's finished off their season with a weekend tour down into deepest Cornwall.
Travelling down on Friday evening, due to County and other commitments Services travelled with a squad of 16 players.
First stop for the tour was at Wadebridge Camels.
Having beaten their hosts early in the season, it was clear that Wadebridge were keen to welcome their visitors and put on a performance. Services knew that a tough game was awaiting them as they warmed up on the pitch and saw the assembled mass before them.
Evenly matched in the early stages, Camels took the game by the scruff in the second half with the introduction of fresh players. Wadebridge had their revenge for the early season defeat.
Moving on to Perranporth, a night of R & R planned, a cyclone duly arrived and made the evening of camping somewhat more interesting.
Saturday began and Elvis, Batman, a Giraffe, Gorilla, Kangaroo and Tigger joined the boys on the short trip to Perranporth RFC. Kicking off at 11:00, the game was played in good conditions and a great game ensued. Services just edged the game and then enjoyed their hosts hospitality.
With more animals putting in an appearance (Gorilla, Cow, Zebra and Duck) along with Wally, the clubhouse was a feast of colour and entertainment.
Returning to the Holiday Park, the bemused onlookers merely added to the fun for the weekend.
