Services were invited to participate in the U12 festival held at St Ives RFC on Sunday 6th April and were in a pool with Camborne, St Agnes, Launceston, and Newquay Hornets.
Although it was half term, Services knew that they had some tough tests to complete during the day, but they stuck to their tasks and beat Launceston, Newquay Hornets and St Agnes, before taking on probably their biggest test, so far this season, by playing Camborne in our last match of the day.
Camborne had only lost once this season and Services were made to work hard in a very physical match and Services scored three unanswered tries in the first half, and defending their try line in the second half as though their lives depended on it.
Next weekend, Services will travel to South Molten to compete in a tournament that will include the two teams, Cardiff and Maesteg.
