Devonport travelled to Kingsbridge for their first match of 2014, looking forward to what is always a much anticipated fixture.

The boys were itching to show off their much improved teamwork and it was clear that the persistence with drills in training is paying off. The match was hard fought but Devonport put forward a tight defensive line and Kingsbridge's faster runners just couldn't break through.

The tries came in thick and fast for both teams, but Devonport held their nerve and a flurry of tries in the second half ensured that the boys got a much deserved win!
