About the team

Welcome to Devonport Services U12's Rugby team.

We are a friendly, open, and inclusive team that aims to put the needs of each player first by providing progressive but fun rugby activities. This is often achieved through games rather than drills so that young players can learn vital skills within 'real' game contexts.

Fixtures take place most Sundays, with the team meeting for a warm-up/fun rugby activities from 10 am, and matches against local opposition starting at 11 am. These games take place all over the county, and on occasions, in Cornwall. Where no games are fixtures, training takes place at DSRFC, 2nd Avenue, Devonport, Plymouth from 10 am.

Each new player is able to take advantage of up to 3 taster sessions before registration is required. Your child is then registered with the club/RFU and is given match socks and a smart after-match shirt. Playing shirts will also be provided. Registration/membership day is the first Sunday in September, with fixtures to commence a few weeks later.

We are a family-orientated and friendly club, who value the social as well as the technical/physical benefits of this great sport. The club is proud of its community seal of approval from the RFU, and pride ourselves on our inclusion and safeguarding policies. Why not join us?
